A BUDGET airline has launched a bargain January sale, with flights from Spain to the UK costing less than a tenner.

The new campaign has launched as part of the airline’s Blue Monday sales, with flights costing as little as £9.35.
From today until Thursday (January 18, 2024), the airline has heavily discounted the price of up to 7,000 seats across Vueling’s network.
The discounted deals are available to book on flights operating until the end of April, with prices starting from just £9.
Vueling flies from five airports in the UK, including London Gatwick, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Manchester.
Brit holidaymakers will be able to find cheap seats from Spain to the UK, with initial outbound tickets costing slightly more.
After searching for a potential route, you will need to click on the calendar to find dates that have flights where the prices are reduced.
These price reductions will be indicated by a green dot on the calendar.
Sun Online Travel tried out the new feature when looking for flights from Bilbao to London in February, with the cheapest tickets advertised costing as little as £9.95.
There were other bargain prices too, including one-way flights from Malaga to London for as little as £19.90 in March and flights from Barcelona could be purchased for just £12.74.
Brit holidaymakers will need to be flexible when hunting down the cheap seats because they are typically on flights that operate mid-week.
Prices are for the airline’s basic seats, which include a small underseat cabin bag.
Those holidaymakers looking for outbound flights from the UK will still be able to find deals on the Vueling website – although they aren’t as cheap.
For example, a flight from London to Barcelona can be purchased for as little as £26.68, which means a return trip would cost £39.42.
If these outbound flight prices seem a little too steep, and you don’t mind flying on separate airlines, then budget airline Ryanair has some pocket-friendly deals.
For example, outbound flights between London and Barcelona with Ryanair can be snapped up for as little as £14.99, while flights to Malaga are £19.99.
Just like the Vueling flights, the Ryanair flights only include a small cabin bag, which means holidaymakers will need to pay more for larger carry-on bags.
Earlier this month, Ryanair launched a new feature that helps passengers to find the cheapest flights.
Similar to the Skyscanner “everywhere” button, the new function is called the “any destination” feature.
After inputting the UK airport – with more than 20 to choose from – the “any destination” button then pops up when trying to choose the country to fly to.
Passengers can then pick the month they want to travel, as well as which day they want to fly and how many nights they want to stay, up to 15 nights.
Sun Online Travel tried out the feature when looking for flights from London Stansted in January.
The cheapest destinations included Spain, when travelling to Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga, Santander or Valencia if flying on a Tuesday, with fares from £14.99 each way.
And Wizz Air has flights from £12.99 to destinations such as Lyon and Catania.
If you want to save thousands on your flight, there is a risky trick that travel experts often use.
Called error fares, the flight prices are often mistakenly added onto a website, with some being as much as £11,000 cheaper.
However, they can get cancelled at short notice, so you run the risk of not being able to fly, although you will get your money back.
