It will be the first of it’s kind in the north east, with many of the iconic activities inside.

The huge 28,570sqft venue is completely indoors – so no worry about the weather – with more than 360 people able to visit per hour.

This includes the famous Warped Wall within the two obstacle courses.

A huge inflatable course with tunnels will also be included as well as battle towers.

Younger guests can try out a special inflatable course for kids under four.

And older guests can attend Ninja Lates, a monthly event for over 18s.

Afterwards, there is even a gaming zone and viewing mezzanine along with a cafe serving snacks and drinks.

An official opening date is yet to be confirmed although operators have said it will be open by the summer holidays.

Ticket prices are yet to be revealed also, although other attractions costs range from £14 for 60 minutes to £21 for two hours.

Other discounts include family tickets and student tickets.

Dawid Kaminski at Leisure TV Rights Ltd, behind the Teeside venue, said it was “fantastic” to open in the north east ahead of summer.

He added: “We will be bringing an action-packed experience to this massive venue, which offers activities for the whole family to enjoy, as well as our Ninja Lates for those who prefer to visit the venue during adult-only sessions.

“We cannot wait to deliver this famous experience to Teesside, which welcomes everyone to enjoy fitness challenges whether with groups of friends and family or solo training.”

In the mean time, a new treetop attraction has opened in a 600-year-old forest.

Go Ape opened its 37th site in Northamptonshire earlier this year.

Also new this year is Zip World Conwy, the seventh Zip World site in the UK.

Found in the Welsh village of Dolgarrog, the indoor adventure hub has a Ninja assault course, a stunt jump zone and extreme slides as well as monkey bars and swinging ropes.

And here’s what you can expect from Zip World Windemere.
