Lamborghini has just unveiled a limited edition “all-terrain” ad Personam series of the Huracan Sterrato during Milan Design Week. The 12 different cars feature exclusive liveries designed by the Ad Personam studio with help from Centro Stile, featuring camouflage bodywork inspired by the different terrains the Sterrato excels on around the world:

  • Snow
  • Woods
  • Sand
  • Rocky Terrain

Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann presented the event, and all of the cars were oriented around recreations of the terrains they represent; a high-class affair, it seems, but we can’t help but think the point would have gotten across even better if the vehicles were shone blasting through said terrains, like a Middle Eastern dune or down the Italian alps.

Inspired By The Terrain Of The World

“The All-Terrain Sterrato celebrates its distinctive, multi-layer personality, always as much a super sports car as an explorer of new roads. Like nature, the Sterrato cannot be confined and will always find a way to carve innovative routes.”

Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini

Starting with the snowy terrain, the NEVE (snow) colorway pulls from the subtle but sophisticated blues and whites of the cool winter terrain. SABBIA (Sand) features the warm tans, greens, and browns of the harsh desert, and TERRA (gravel) features even more warm sand and ground, but this time throws in black rock and powerful sunsets of arid environments. Finally, BOSCO (woodland track) brings together all the lovely greens and browns you’d expect to see as they blur past you while bombing through a forest.

In addition to these designs, the vehicles also feature matte black on specific areas like the roof and engine cover. The lower parts of the car are all painted black, and each vehicle features its name and pinstriping in a unique color to make the designs pop. The wheels are Morus 19-inch Matte Black forged rims with unique caliper colors, and additional lighting has been added, though it’s hard to make out where.

The interior is finished with dark chrome and carbon twill with Alcantara and lasered Sterrato graphics. Finally, each vehicle receives a special edition plaque denoting its unique nature.

Style With Substance

Of course, we know not a single one of the 12 owners will ever take these vehicles seriously off-roading, and that’s a genuine waste of the vehicle’s 6.4 inches of ground clearance. Not to mention all of the extra body cladding, the Sterrato’s revised MageRide dampers, a rally mode that is perfect for quicker turn-in, and four knobbly Bridgestone Dueler All-Terrain AT002 tires that are begging to get muddy.

On top of this, you have one of the last production vehicles in the world with a V10. A 602-horsepower, 5.2-liter V10, to be exact. Then there are the skidplates, roof rails, and extra rally lights to not only ensure you can have a blast off-road but also to make sure those driving around you feel even poorer than they already are.
