"Tiebreak," the official video game of the ATP and WTA, is officially coming soon – Tennis Magazine

After more than a decade without any new tennis video games, fans will soon have not one, but two, to choose from. On the heels of this week’s upcoming release of *TopSpin 2k25*, the fifth installment of the Top Spin series, comes Tiebreak, which is being billed as the official game of the ATP and WTA tours.

The game was initially slated for a 2023 release, but was pushed back to 2024 in January. Both tours officially announced the title in social media posts this week, featuring the finalized cover art that showcases Novak Djokovic and Coco Gauff. The WTA’s post teased that the game will feature a roster of more than 100 professional players which is the most ever for a tennis video game. (The upcoming TopSpintitle, which will be released on April 26, for comparison, features 25 players.)

“Step into a world where you can play full ATP and WTA seasons, with the current stars and greatest tennis players of all time,” the ATP’s post also read.

Big Ant Studios developed the game, which is published by Nancon. The developer has worked on other tennis titles including Tennis World Tourand AO Tennis, the first official licensed game of the Australian Open.
