studiopepe designs silos collection for uniqka

Designed by Studiopepe for Uniqka, the Silos collection embodies a fusion of architectural allure and artistic finesse. Within this collection, a family of low tables emerges, each imbued with its own unique character and charm. From the vegetable-tanned leather legs, establishing a tactile connection to the earth, to the tops available in various materials, the collection presents a symphony of textures and tones. Set to be unveiled during Milan Design Week 2024, the Silo pieces signify an intersection of innovative design and functional aesthetics.

During the design week, commencing on April 15th, the Silos collection will be showcased in ‘MOHD Atelier,’ an installation curated by Studiopepe at MOHD Officina, Via Macchi 82. Additionally, the Silos low tables can be explored at the Archiproducts showroom at Via Tortona 31, presenting ‘Aqua,’ a design exploration by Studiopepe.

Inspired by silo structures, Milan-based Studiopepe conceived the Silos collection as silent inhabitants of urban and suburban landscapes. These industrial architectures, austere yet inherently charming and mysterious, are evoked through pure and sculptural volumes, with curved surfaces that play with light and shadow. The leather covering creates sophisticated chromatisms, accentuating the clean volumes and the potential for diverse material combinations.

Whether in earthy neutrals or bold hues, the Silos collection provides a diverse palette to suit various preferences and interior aesthetics. Like sculptural art pieces, the collection’s pure, curved volumes interact with light and shadow, evoking a sense of poetic harmony.
