New mental health facilities in Tooting ‘to help tackle stigma’

wo new mental health facilities embedded in a new community in south west London will help break the stigma around mental illness, an NHS Trust leader has said.

Vanessa Ford, the chief executive of South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust, told the Standard that the Trinity and Shaftesbury buildings on the Springfield Village site in Tooting would help local residents to seek help for mental illness at an earlier stage.
