It is not April 1st, but currently there is some extraordinary news is doing the rounds.
According to The Athletic, West Ham have put an advertisement for new players on the internet !
The site in question is called TransferRoom.com and they claim “that they are taking football’s transfer market into the digital age and making football transfers easy.”
It appears that we are looking for seven players a left-back, centre-back, defensive midfielder, central midfielder, striker, winger and No 10.
I know we are getting a touch desperate, but really?
But then again perhaps this is the way things will be done in the future or is it simply that we have found ourselves in a position unknown in our history of the game.
We don’t wish ill on any media site surrounding the club but we can’t help hoping this may be a story whkch will turn out to be incorrect.
