However, there are crafty ways in which parents can bring more than they might think they’re able to.

One way is through the clever use of a car seat, which many people have to take with them when they go away.

Mother and Tiktoker Autumn Grace (@honestlyautumn) showed how she uses the seat to stash extra goods, including a load of extra nappies when going away with her kids.

The video showed her filling the seat with items before covering it in its protective carry case.

She titled it: “This hack is a must if you’re flying with your baby or toddler this summer!”

Autumn further explained that when she gets to the airport, she checks in the car seat, with the extras.

Not only does this mean she has extra room in her suitcase, but her luggage is looked after more than it usually would be.

She continued: “I always check mine at the gate.

“They also put it in a safer location on the plane (with the animals) and handle it with more care when you check it at the gate.”

She also assured her viewers that “most airports allow parents to do this”.
