The internet may have stolen hours of my life and smoothed out the folds of my brain so it is now the consistency of one of those weird liquid-glitter pouch tubes everyone had in the 90s – but what the internet hath taken away, she hath given back in funny videos.
With the pride of a bird who has found a shiny thing, I show these funny things on the internet to those I love, those I am trying to flirt with, and to strangers who receive them after my thumb slips. Enjoy!

This video has such a fearful, wholesome energy. The drama, the panic, the low, low stakes – it’s perfection. For the past five years whenever there has been a little surprise bug in the house, my mind is filled with: “Get him Terry! Get him!”

This is the monologue that will get me into NIDA. Someone took this misspelled menu and made what can only be described as one of the greatest spoken-word pieces of the 21st century.
3. Pizza Ad – Hot Department
Anything that Aussie sketch duo Hot Department make is aggressively funny and I nearly passed away when I saw this episode of their online series Dark Web. I pray Patrick saying “forget about it” is one of the last things I hear among this mortal coil 🙂

Reuben Kaye is one of the funniest and quickest comics I have ever seen and there is truly nothing this powerhouse cannot do … except for spell on Celebrity Letters and Numbers. His pure panic made me love him even more.

Welcome to the world of Long Head baby! Millie has made some truly harrowing comics starring this upsetting original character who I would move heaven and hell for.
6. Vines that cure my anxiety
Welcome to the smoothest part of my brain baby! No folds! Just Vines! The space these quotes take up in my head could be used to learn another language, do basic maths, or simply sit in a peaceful silence. Now it’s full with “when life give you lemons”, “look at all those chickens” and “road work ahead? Yeah. I sure hope it does”. I wouldn’t change it even if I could. This collection proves to me that the internet is good.
7. How Anne Edmonds says ‘Arancini balls’
Anne Edmonds is one of the best. She nearly ruined her relationship because of her commitment to the bit and I vibe with that so hard.
8. At Home Alone Together
This whole ABC series was made during THE BAD TIMES, but it’s still iconic and an amazing showcase of Aussie sketch talent. I would die for Helen Bidou.
9. Tiddas Can’t Even – ABC Black Comedy
OK, this show needs to be rebooted IMMEDIATELY! It’s so funny and it’s filled with some of the best talent in the country. My heart will always have a special place for the series of “Tiddas can’t even” sketches.
10. Grouse House
You want an array of indie Aussie comedy? Welcome to Grouse House baby! This channel is still fairly new, but it’s such a good platform for Aussie comedy and showcasing some sick new voices. CHECK IT OUT. (Not spon, just a fan).
