Billionaire and X owner Elon Musk is standing by British comedian Russell Brand amidst serious allegations surfacing against the latter. The accusations stem from a joint investigation by the Times of London and Channel 4 Dispatches.

What Happened: Brand, who is facing claims of sexual assault and rape from four women, has dismissed the allegations as a “coordinated media attack,” attributing it to his conservative views aired on his podcast “Stay Free.”

On Friday, Brand shared his thoughts on X, posting a video saying, “This is happening.”

Musk replied to Brand, stating that the comedian is being targeted because “they don’t like competition.”

In response to another X user who firmly asserted that “Russell Brand has not raped any woman,” Musk said on Sunday that he supports Brand and that the comedian “is not evil.”

Also rallying behind Brand is influencer Andrew Tate, who is presently embroiled in legal matters of his own related to rape and human trafficking accusations in Romania.

On Saturday, Tate welcomed Brand to “the club,” sharing an image of a cartoon knight with a caption indicating a readiness to fight the allegations.

Television executives reportedly contemplated the removal of all female staff from programs featuring Brand due to concerns about potential “assault or harassment.”

The disturbing revelation coincides with allegations from four women who accused the 48-year-old comedian of sexual assault and abuse between 2006 and 2013. The claims were unveiled in a joint investigative report published by the Times of London and Channel 4 Dispatches on Saturday.
