Based on the top-spec Mercedes-Benz S-Class – the new AMG S63 E Performance – the German tuner calls its latest product vollkommen, or perfection when translated to English. Using the Brabus’ PowerXtra B40E-930 performance kit, the already powerful electrified setup of the AMG S63 E Performance gets a bump to 917 horsepower (930 metric hp) and 1,114 lb-ft of torque, a healthy power-up from the stock 791 hp and 1,055 lb-ft of twist. The new power figures align with the Brabus-tuned Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance introduced last year. Still, this is not the most potent Brabus – that distinction goes to the 986-hp Rocket 1000.
Exterior, Wheels, & Chassis Upgrades
The Brabus-tuned AMG S63 E Performance can sprint from 0-62 mph in 3.2 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 180 mph. To handle all that speed and power, the sedan gets a SportXtra suspension module to lower up to 0.4 inches. The wheels have been upgraded to new 22-inch Brabus Monoblock ZM “Platinum Edition” CNC-machined forged wheels with a center disc and 20-spoke design.
Typical to Brabus creations and beyond the logos, the AMG S63 E Performance receives a slew of carbon fiber aero elements all over the body. The front spoiler has raised side flaps to reduce lift, while the side air intakes work in concert with the front apron for optimal cooling. The black theme gets a shell-shaped quilting on the seats, while the blue version has a diamond design. Whichever you choose, Brabus promises high-quality materials (mostly carbon fiber and leather) to amplify the luxurious feel inside the cabin, plus a bunch of Brabus emblems found all over the cabin.
