A SNEAKY 13-year-old boy has destroyed a $500,000 Lamborghini in a huge crash after convincing the car’s owner he was old enough to drive.

The teenager was speeding down the road at 62mph in dark and rainy weather before he sent the pricey motor uncontrollably skidding to the bottom of a ditch.

The unnamed boy had his pal in the passenger seat when he sent them both flying off the Trans-Canada Highway in West Vancouver.

Both luckily made it out the horror crash with no injuries and even managed to flee the scene and return home.

Cops say they arrived to see the battered car sat in the ditch shortly after 11pm on March 25, with no one around it.

The front bumper has been ripped completely off and the rear of the car has been crumpled in the awful collision.

Dirt and dust cover the windows as the wing mirrors were left hanging on by a thread on the side of the car.

The Italian motor was later seen being carted through the streets of West Vancouver by a recovery truck.

Footage shows the totaled supercar slightly cleaned up but still missing a large chunk of its front bumper.

The owner was reportedly looking to sell the expensive car to the highest bidder and was allowing potential buyers a chance to test drive the model.

Police say the seller failed to make any probes into the boys age and happily handed over the keys when they asked to take it for a spin.

West Vancouver Police Sgt. Chris Bigland told North Shore News: “We do not believe that the registered owner was aware of the true age of this young person, or that they were unable or were not licensed to drive in British Columbia.”

“It does not appear that the registered owner maybe asked an extra couple of questions to establish that this was a wise choice.

“The driver’s inability to manage the vehicle in the weather conditions at the speed that they were operating at was a significant contributing factor.”

A report submitted to the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia was filed to try and determine how the owner could claim for the damages.

Used Lamborghini Huracan’s can be sold for anywhere between $318,888 and $550,900, according to autotrader.

Bigland continued: “The West Vancouver Police Department takes public safety very seriously. Speeding, driving without due care and attention, and driving without a driver’s licence are serious offences that can have tragic consequences.

“We’re asking everyone to make good choices and do their part to keep our roads safe.”
