U.S. stock indexes declined Tuesday as investors weighed fears about the outlook for interest rates against optimism surrounding China’s reopening.
The S&P 500 dropped 0.6%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.3% and the technology-heavy Nasdaq Composite slid 1.1%.
